¡áDevelopment of a Lightweight Air-Shaft
Using the Air-Capsule can produce a lightweight Air-Shaft with
large chucking force, Air-Capsule type shafts are approximately
half the weight of convertional Lug-tube type shafts.

¡áVibration Stabilization Mechanism
As shown in a drawing, the convertional Lug type Air-Shaft has
a design flaw. The defecive design makes it difficult to fix the
core to the center of the main shaft.This is becouse the tube
type shaft consists of an expansion tube, Which is put inside
of a pipe in conjunction with some lugs.The tube then expands
without any supporting point when air pressure is supplied.On
the other hand, the Air-Cupsule expands in all directions from
the main shaft keeping a precise center. In short, Air-Capsule
type shafts hold the corse on center with a supporting point.

¡áLong Life
The unified structure of the Air-Capsule type shafts,having no
lugs,eliminates friction that is produced between the rubber
tube and lugs of conventional type shafts during every rotation.
The elimination of lugs in the Air-Capsule design results in a
signficant increase in the life span of the shaft.
